The party is ON!

Join us Dec 22 for our annual Christmas Eve at Kid's Night party!
Kid's can come dressed in their pajamas and we'll have cupcakes and cookies to decorate, stories to read and songs to sing!
below is the latest list of who's bringing  what. If you want to help, just let me know or just show up with a topping.
BUT mainly, you can help by making this a big success and bring lots of kids!

Okay, so once again, thanks for your help moving, cleaning and helping with he kids while i still am recovering!

I should be able to lift and go through my stuff end of December, so i appreciate everyone helping till then.

PARTY: Dec 22nd I will tell people the fun starts at 5:30 to give us time to set up.

Tonight's Kid's Night (Dec 1st)

Tonight we will be working on cards for Christmas and any other holiday you like. as well as making an Advent chain to count down the days!

We're back!

In case you missed the email, we will be having our first Kid's Night since my surgery on November 24th. I haven't published it in the paper and will probably not post it in any Facebook groups. I want it to be busy, but with mostly regulars, for my first night back. Hope to see you there!

My heart surgery recovery is going well, and I plan on resuming both Kid's Night and my Birthdays by Mike parties in December. To find out the latest, email me at mdmckeon@gmail.com to be added to our Kid's Night family list!

Kid's NIght Mike schedule update

Some good news and some bad news! If you haven't heard, I had to have triple bypass surgery. It all went well, but i still have several weeks of recuperation left before i can resume Kid's Night! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear kids night families,
I am writing from my hospital bed as I await heart surgery early next week. Unfortunately, this means I have to cancel kid's night for a while. I thank you for your continued support and hope to be back soon...

Pirate party was a blast, now onto a Paint Night!

We had several new families join our group for this past Pirate Party, and I wish to welcome them!

In the middle of changing up the room, so be patient.
Also have aquired allergies for the first time ever, so if you hear me clearing my throat or coughing thats all it is!

We will be having a paint night next week (9/22)
Hope to see you all, and please, keep spreading the word! (Amazing how many people haven't heard of Kid's Night that would enjoy it!)

JULY SCHEDULE

·        July 7^th: What can you make of this? A little reverse engineering tonight, instead of Kid’s Night Mike preparing and suggesting something for you to make, he’ll supply the materials and you decide what to do with them!

·        July 14^th: First week of Kid’s Night Summer Camp! Tonight’s choices include outdoor crafts like airplanes and God’s Eye’s and, if we have time, some stories and games around the (indoor) campfire!

·        July 21^st: Week 2 of Kid’s Night Summer Camp! Tonight, more camp crafts and more campfire activities!

·        July 28th: Paint night! This month we will attempt to paint rocks and other things that require Acrylic Paints (Not our usual washable paints) We will have washable paint activities as well! Smocks are available, but dress accordingly just in case!

Fireworks this week!

This week we'll be making our own brand of fireworks, with glitter and glue!

This week we will be doing things with ballloons, so if you or your children are latex sensitive, you may not want to come. (Just this week!) Also we have some crafts for when they are done with the balloons.

March schedule has been revised!

In case you already received it, the March schedule has been revised! Almost forgot the Lucky Egg Hunt! Easter crept up on me, (first weekend in April), so i had to change the last 2 weeks of Kid's Night activities. Game night will be moved to April vacation week and magic night will be rescheduled sometime later as well. For the new schedule, click the March schedule tab

February schedule

The new schedule is up, and because we missed the January paint night, we're combining Valentine's Day crafts and Paint night this coming week (Feb 3rd) Be prepared for lots of hearts!

NO Kid's Night (January 27th)

Sorry to have to do this, but due to the impending winter storm Juno and the Governers orders t stay off the roads tomorrow, we will have to cancel this weeks Kid's Night!

No KIds NIght tonight! (Jan 13 2015)

Sorry, but rather than take a chance on giving your kids the cold we're dealing with here at home, i have decided to cancel tonight's kids night! We'll see you next week!

January Schedule is up!

Here you go:

·        January 6^th: Now that we’re really into winter, let’s make some snow! Paper Snowmen and Snowflakes, that is!

·        January 13^th: For the first Paint night of 2014, we’ll try to warm up with the return of sunset silhouette paintings! Washable paints are used, and smocks are available, but dress accordingly, just in case!

·        January 20^th: Penguin Night! They’re cute and cuddly, and tonight you can make a variety of penguin crafts including a penguin on skis!

·        January 27^th Groundhog pop-ups that come out of their hole and hand puppets are on the way for Groundhog Day!
