If you haven't already, check out the October schedule, and you'll see we have a LOT going on ...
This week, Oct 2nd, we'll have the Middleboro Fire Department visit us for Fire Safety Night. Kids can check out a fire truck, ask questions and even make a practice 911 call with the firefighter. If they didn't get one last year, kids can take a non-working cell phone home to practice with. They are real cell phones with the insides taken out so they can't function. They were donated by a Kid's Night mom who works for Metro PCS in Rhode Island. We will also have more apples and honey for Rosh Hashanah, and autumn leaf crafts to work on. Fire Truck time is 5:30-7:00, but the engine will be on call, so it may have to leave if they get a call!
Coming up later in October, but NOT a Kid's Night thing, I will be doing Twisty Balloons again at the Burkland Harvest Big Blast on Friday night, October 26th! Hope to see you there!

NO KId's Night night this week (Sept 25th)
Just a reminder, one of those rare nights off for me this week (September 25th)
BUT when we come back (October 2nd) we will have our annual Fire Safety night with a visit from the Middleboro Fire Department! Fire truck should be here from 5:30-7:00 as long as it doesn't have to go out for a call! Kid's can try making a pretend 911 call with the firefighter to see how they would do in a real emergency. We will have more apples and honey for Rosh Hashanah, and some fall leaf projects as well.

Wow! another crazy night! Can't wait for the Pirate Party
Don't know if it was the back to school energy, but they were full of it this week!

But we survived, and now its on to the annual Pirate Party next week (Sept 18th)! Costumes are optional , but fun is not!

Halloween costume party date choice
The email I sent out said Oct 3rd by mistake as one of the options for the costume party date. It should be either October 23rd or October 30th. Please email me and let me know your preference. Right now I'm leaning towards the 23rd, and the few who have responded also are leaning that way, so if I don't hear from anybody else, that will be it.
