There will be a Kid's Night tonight October 30th! Hope to see you there!

This Tuesday (10/30)

It's 10:30 Monday night, and the winds and rain have subsided, if not totally quit. SO as of right now I plan on holding Kid's Night as planned. I will post again on here tomorrow (Tuesday before 4, so check back to be sure), but I don't see any reason to cancel it right now. Hope to see you there!

Watch this space! Hurricane Sandy threatens next Kid's Night!

As we all know, storms can get overblown by the media, but in case this one isn't,  I will cancel Kid's Night if need be, so watch this space for updates!

If we do have Kid's Night this week (Oct30th), we will have a fairly quiet night of reading some spooky stories (scary and not so scary), some new Halloween crafts, and perhaps a game or two.

Doing the party earlier may have cut down the numbers, but not the awesomeness of the costumes!

Costume up! Lost and found!

Another busy night last night, not too many kids, but those who were there were full of energy!

Next week, (Oct 23rd)  it's costume party time! It will be busiest around 5-6, so plan accordingly. Lots of  games, not too messy crafts and one free small bag of candy per child. We will be doing a group picture for the paper and having a costume parade through the other stores as well, so come early and stick around!
(Costumes are optional of course)

I had a new family visit last night, who left their pumpkins. I have them as well as the witch your daughter made! (Whenever I find a project, bracelet or anything that I know someone left, i keep it in my Kid's Night room till the week, so just ask if you left something. If its something big or important like a jacket or school book, i leave it up front with a note, so ask up there.

I have a few weeks of photos to edit and post, but I should get to them this weekend, so check back Monday and they should all be posted. plus I will email the link to anyone who is in them if I have their email.

We had around 25 kids for pumpkin painting night, so it was a little crazy. Next year I'm stocking up on boxes ahead of time to send them home in!

Next week, we'll be doing Halloween crafts like bats and cats and more.

Don't forget your pumpkins!

We'll be painting pumpkins this week, so don't forget to bring yours! There will be other painting projects to keep them busy while the pumpkins dry.

A little rain, no problem!

As you can see from the photo, we had a grand old time last night despite the rain. (It actually stopped after 6) Lots of photos to edit and post, as soon as I get finished getting ready for my upcoming Monster High party!
Next week is pumpkin painting night. arrive early so they can dry before you leave! Softball or slightly bigger is best size. Smocks as always are available, and there will be other activities to do while the pumpkins dry. See you there!

Its on!

The forecast is 50/50 on showers, so I just told the Fire Department to come regardless, and we'll deal with the rain. Everyone can wait under the overhang while we let kids get up in the truck. we'll just help them a little more when they get in and out.

More things to do with the kids added, MFD visit update

As of right now (Tuesday morning), I plan on the MFD visit still going on.. There is a chance of showers, but we have so much going on later this month, its now or never I'm afraid. I will call the Fire Department later and check the radar, so check back here before 4 and I will have the final say.
