There will be NO Kid's Night this week (Sept 4th) I will be helping my kids move back to college. We will be there for 9-11, and I hope to make it a special night, with a special book and a chance to honor some of our local heroes.
The following week will be the annual Pirate Party, so dig ot those bandanas and join us for the fun and games!
Please check the sidebar for a list of things I'm looking for for our room, in case you happen to have or come across them real cheap! Thanks
PS the latest photos (8/28/12) are posted, see below to the right. THe new camera is working great!
Welcome to the new Kid's Night blog!
While I have mainly transferred updating and pictures to our Facebook page, you can still find older picture links here, as well as new posts.

New pictures are finally up
Finally got around to editing and posting the pictures from last several weeks. I had been using my cheaper cameras, so the quality isn't the best on some. Plus i still have to go through the one the kids took with the fuji camera! Good news is I received a credit for a new camera because my good one wasn't working and couldn't be fixed. Luckily is was under warranty. I have a brand new, much nicer model now! Yeah!
See you soon!

playing in the parking lot!
No, not really, but close! While we were waiting for our Mexican stick painting and rock painting to dry, we made paper airplanes, and seeing how we don't have a ton of room in the back, we took them out back back to fly them! And boy did they fly!
A new item in things to do with the Kids section. a little drive, but free and fun if you're kids are into it! Just Click on the tab above.
Next week, back to school activities!
PS I can tell you now that there will be NO Kid's Night on Sept 4th. (Boo-hoo) BUT, I can also tell you that we will be having our annual Pirate Party on Sept 18th ( the day before National Talk Like a Pirate Day) AVAST!

Great show!
If you haven't already checked it out, Disney 'Gravity Falls" is a riot for young and old alike. (I'm sitting here with my 18 yr old son watching it now and my 21 yr old daughter loves it too.) It has tons of hidden jems for those who are web savy and laughs for adults that only they will get.

Paint night this week: be prepared!
We'll be painting sticks this week, hopefully turning them into creatures! We will use acrylic paints , but there will also be the usual washable paints available as well!
Still have to edit and post last few weeks pictures, so hang in there!

Come cool off and float a boat!
Ahoy mateys!
The AC is on and so is the fun as we make boats that float and even try them out in our own little puddle!

Krazy Days a big hit!
Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by at Krazy Days! I was so busy I didn't find out till later how generous some of you you were! I had a very successful time (aside from the heat ) for my first time ever doing a street fair. I had 3 parents who want to book parties right away and my wife gave away tons of fliers and brochures to parents as their kids were getting faces or balloons done. I also got invited to do face painting at 2 other events as well. By far though the best part for me was the pleasure of watching a bunch of kids look in the mirror and get a big smile and say "I love it"! Out of the 16 hours there, we were probably non-stop busy for 14. I also learned a lot about what I can do and what I need to work on! Of course I couldn't have done it with out my wife, who handles the "business" end of it all.
See you around at Kid's Night!
Mike
